Christopher A NewsomeChristopher Alan Newsome was born on July 31st, 1982 in Chicago, Illinois. The son of a teacher and a print manager for an advertising agency, Christopher's parents divorced when he was three years old. Living primarily with his mother, he grew up inthe south suburbs of Chicago. Growing up Christopher didn't know specifically what he wanted to do for a living but knew he wanted to become successful and live a comfortable life. After graduating from high school in June 2000, he was accepted to and attended Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana. With lots of hard work and good fortune, Christopher graduated from Purdue in December 2004 with a bachelor's degree in Telecommunication with a minor in English. His original hopes were to one day becoming a television producer but found it extremely difficult to break into the television industry and therefore altered his career aspirations. With writing being a side interest of his he decided to try his hand at writing a book after one of his cousins encouraged him to when she told him I don't know much about you and you should write a book that explains who you truly are as a person.
