Christopher a GayleChristopher Gayle is a board certified obstetrician/gynecologist who has made his first foray into fiction writing with his novel The Clock. Chris was born in Lake Charles. His father was a land owner and cattle farmer; his mother a school teacher an housewife. Chris has an older brother and sister. He and his wife Julie live in Bossier City, LA and have three children and one dog. Chris attended LSU in Baton Rouge where he earned his baccalaureate and LSUHSC in Shreveport where he earned his Doctor of Medicine and completed residency training. Chris is a founder and managing partner of Imagine Date Studios in Shreveport, LA. His cofounding and creative partner, Carl J. Lapeyrouse envisioned the idea of children who time travel by way of a grandfather clock and tasked Chris with developing and writing the story, which became The Clock.
