Prior to becoming a physician, Dr. Reyes was a Medical/Coronary Intensive Care nurse. She attended medical school at the University of New Mexico. Her post-graduate training included a transitional year at Emory University, Anatomic and Clinical Pathology residency at the George Washington University and pediatric pathology fellowship at Texas Children's Hospital. She is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology, as well as Pediatric Pathology. She is Assistant Professor of Pathology and Pediatrics at the George Washington University.
