Christine HolboChristine Holbo is Associate Professor of English at Arizona State University. Her work investigates the intersections of law, literature, philosophy, and politics in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. She is the author of Lgal Realisms: Th e American Novel under Reconstruction (Oxford, 2019), which explores the transformation of the realist novel in the age of the Fourteenth Amendment.
