Christina PughChristina Pugh is the author of five previous books of poems including Stardust Media, winner of the Juniper Prize for Poetry; and Perception, named one of the top poetry books of 2017 by Chicago Review of Books; as well a a book of essays titled Ghosts and the Overplus: Reading Poetry in the Twenty-First Century. Her poems and essays have appeared in The Atlantic, Poetry, American Poetry Review, Kenyon Review, Yale Review, and many other publications. A former Guggenheim fellow in poetry, she has received fellowships and awards from the Poetry Society of America, the Bogliasco Foundation, and the Illinois Arts Council.
