I have worked my entire life in the field of Special Education, by becoming a Florida certified teacher, certified in Special Educatio, earned a Master's Degree in Education, and a Doctoral Degree in Special Education with a concentration in Autism Spectrum Disorder. In addition, I have worked several years as a Special Education teacher for children with an array of disabilities. Now, I am sure that your all are thinking, Okay, we get it. You are very qualified. But the truth is that these certifications are only a small part of why I have an understanding and appreciation for the world of Special Education. The truth is that I have two disabilities, Reading Processing Speed and Dyslexia. I did not start to learn how to read until I was 10 years old.
