Chihiro NakagawaChihiro Nakagawa is an author, illustrator, and translator. She was born in Tokyo, Japan. Chihiro spent a high school year in San Diego before returning to Japan, where she graduated from Tokyo University of Arts. Amy's Eyes was one of first books sh translated into Japanese. She loved the book so much she added more than 100 illustrations to the Japanese edition. Those illustrations are now in the English language second edition of Amy's Eyes. Since Amy's Eyes she has translated more than 150 children's books from English to Japanese. Chihiro has written and illustrated several of her own books, including How to Take Care of an Angel, Who Made This Cake?, and The Phantom Princess and the Giant Goblin of Bukkira Mountain.
