Chester P MichaelMonsignor Chester P. Michael, a Roman Catholic priest ordained in 1942, devoted a substantial part of his priestly ministry to spiritual direction, preached retreats, and workshops on prayer and spirituality. A student of Jungian psychology since stuies at Notre Dame University in the 1950s, he received a Doctorate in Sacred Theology in 1975 from St. Mary's University in Baltimore. He is the author of six books and wrote and published a quarterly bulletin, "The Open Door," addressing spirituality, theology, scripture, and psychology. Msgr.
