Cheryl Dietrich Cheryl Dietrich spent twenty years in the U.S. Air Force. After she rose to the rank of squadron commander at Ramstein Air Base in Germany, she became the executive officer for the 86th Fighter Wing, commanded the Mission Support Squadron at Sangdahlem Air Base, and, at the Pentagon, developed plans sent to Congress for the Air Force's personnel drawdown.
