Cheng Tung ChongHe obtained his PhD degree from University of Cambridge in 2011. After his PhD, he served as a senior lecturer at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia before moving to China-UK Low Carbon College, Shanghai Jiao Tong Unversity in 2018. His research interests include fundamental combustion, alternative fuels and thermo-chemical conversion technology and gas turbine combustion technology. To date, Dr. Chong has published more than 150 peer-reviewed technical papers. He is listed as the Top 2% researcher in the world (2020, 2021) in the Stanford University's Scientist List. He was awarded the Royal Society-Newton Advanced Fellowship (2016) and was recognized as an Outstanding ASEAN Science Diplomat (2018).
