Charlie EdwardsAs a child, Charlie Edwards spent the holidays with her family in Montroc. Here, inspired by her mother--a disciplined road runner--Charlie began her mornings with runs along the area's many balcony trails. Her favorite pastime was racing her rother on the steep descent from Péclerey. In 2013, Charlie moved to Chamonix, where she worked as a primary teacher for several years before swapping teaching for private tutoring. In addition to running, Charlie also loves writing. She has a bachelor's degree in Creative Writing and a master's in English Literature, and she is currently working on a novel. In 2023, Charlie started writing content for two guiding companies: Run the Alps and Happy Tracks. She has completed a number of ultra-marathons, including the Transgrancanaria (80km), the Lago D'Orta (100km), and the Grand Trail du Courmayeur (75km). This year, she hopes to complete the Tôt Dret (130km) in the Aosta Valley in Italy. Read More Read Less
