Charles Wadsworth CampCharles Wadsworth Camp (1879-1936) was a journalist, critic, playwright, novelist, and soldier. He was married to Madeleine Barnett Camp and they were the parents of a daughter Madeleine, who would grow up to become an author of more than 60 books, icluding the classic A Wrinkle in Time. He covered World War I as a journalist and enlisted when the United States entered the war. He was exposed to toxic gas during deployment and suffered from recurring pneumonia as a result.
