Charles NfonDr. Charles Nfon is a research scientist, with a focus on veterinary virology and immunology. He was born in Cameroon and currently lives in Canada. He has always been interested in writing stories but only started writing in earnest about four yearsago. His short essay "Ushered out of one, accepted at another" was one of nineteen stories shortlisted in 2014 for the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) "Canada writes" series on belonging. He was the winner of the Anglophone Cameroon Writers Association's emerging writer award in 2015. He has published a novel "The Divine Alien" and a collection of short stories about emigration "Greener From a Distance."
