Ogden Distinguished Service Professor Emeritus of Surgery at the University of Chicago Medical Center, where he specialized in prostate and breast cancer. He was awarded the 1966 Nobel Prize fr Physiology or Medicine for his discovery that hormones could be used to control the spread of some cancers.
