Charles A HigginsChuck Higgins received his B.S. degree in physics from the University of Alabama in Huntsville in 1988 and his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees form the University of Florida in 1996. Areas of interest and research include planetary radio astronomy and astronoy education and public outreach. He is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at Middle Tennessee State University in Mufreesboro, Tennessee. He is the 2007-8 recipient of the MTSU Outstanding Teacher Award, and is also the recipient of the NASA Excellence in Outreach Award for his work on NASA's Radio Jove Project in 2005.
