I wnted to gift her something as a souvenir of all the fun days and adventures we have had together during my leave, and a keepsake of her grandmother, Paula, who passed away when I was only 35 weeks pregnant with Layna. Being born in Malta in the heart of the Mediterranean, I have always had a passion for learning languages and writing.
