Charisse NesbitCharisse Nesbit first started writing at the age of eleven when she would make up stories to lull herself to sleep. Though her career path has taken her in many different directions, she always comes back to writing. She first achieved success in 199 when her essay "Child of the Dream" was selected to be a part of the anthology Children of the Dream, where quotes from her essay were featured prominently on the back cover, inside jacket, and introduction of the book. She followed that a year later with a book she self-published to honor finishing her first complete novella.
