Charisse L GillettDr. Charisse L. Gillett became the first woman and first African American to serve as president of Lexington Theological Seminary in 2011. With over 30 years of higher education experience, she has served at institutions like Transylvania University,Midway College, and the University of Northern Iowa. She has an earned doctorate in education from Northern Illinois University.
