Chandrakant D PatelChandrakant D. Patel, is Chief Engineer and Senior Fellow, at HP Inc., United States. He is a pioneer in thermal and energy management in data centers, and in applications of the information technology to drive available energy management at city scaes. He currently leads the HP Global Technical Community, and he also leads the strategic selection of technologies in light of the social, economic and ecological megatrends that are shaping our future. His current technical interests are focused on leveraging his multi-disciplinary past work to develop the 21st century cyber physical systems such as HP's 3D Print Engines. Chandrakant is an ASME and an IEEE Fellow, holds 153 patents, and has published more than 150 technical papers.In 2014, Chandrakant was inducted into the Silicon Valley Engineering Hall of Fame.
