Cecilia KuriaCecilia Kuria is the second daughter (after her firstborn sister) of Lucy and Rev. Dr. Plawson Kuria. She is also an older sister to two younger brothers. She was raised as a PK (preacher's kid) in Kenya until age twenty and has lived most of her adut life in Massachusetts. Her passion for writing began in childhood and led to her being chosen as a finalist in literary contests by her middle-school years. Over time, writing became integral as a way of expressing herself. After a couple of challenging life experiences, Cecilia's faith in God deepened, and her passion for writing, which had been diminished, was reignited.
