Cecile Angela LabarI was born in Kingston, Jamaica in 1956. My family migrated to London England, when I nine years old. I studied at Croydon College for the certificate of qualification in Social Work, 1983-1985. I was divorced in 1985 after an eight-year marriage. I orked as an Education Welfare Officer/ Education Social Worker from 1986-1990. I studied at the Center of the Media Arts, Manhattan, New York in 1991-1991, and obtained a diploma in Broadcast Announcing division.
