CC StangI was born and raised in small town rural Alberta along the banks of the Notikewin River. Home was a Nelson package house my parents built for their seven children. I married a local guy and we raised our family on our homestead in Hotchkiss Alberta.Home was in a grove of spruce trees with coyotes, wolves, bears, deer and the occasional moose as frequent guests. The northern lights were visible throughout the dark winters and long daylight experienced in the summers. Once our children all left the nest, we sold our home, bought an RV and started to spend the winters in warmer climates wandering and exploring.
