Catherine R EttingerCatherine Ettinger is an architect and architectural historian who has lived in Mexico since 1980. She teaches the history and theory of modern architecture and historic preservation at the school of architecture at the Universidad Michoacana e San Nicholás de Hidalgo and has been a guest lecturer at Columbia University, the University of Texas, and other institutions. She is the author of La arquitectura mexicana desde afuera: Episodios en la construcción de un imaginario and La Quinta Eréndira de Lázaro Cárdenas, as well as a member of the National System of Researchers in Mexico and the Mexican chapters of Docomomo and Icomos.
