Catherine Johnson PassmoreMany photographs in this volume are from the Karnes County Museum. The museum is located in the original Helena County Courthouse on the old Ox-Cart Trail, which is part of the famous Chisholm Trail. Other images are from a collection taken in the 190s and 1950s by the author's father, Mason Johnson. The author, Catherine Johnson Passmore, returned home to Karnes City six years ago and wrote briefly for the local newspaper. While in college in Houston, she was the editor of the college newspaper and a member of the Alpha Chi Honor Society. Read More Read Less
