Catalina Mas FloritCatalina Mas Florit is currently an Associate Professor of Archaeology in the Department of History and Archaeology at the University of Barcelona. Her research examines the transformation of landscapes with a particular interest in island systems an rural areas in the western Mediterranean. She co-directed or directed excavations in the building at the Ripoll street of Barcelona, the early Christian set of l'Illa del Rei (Mahon, Menorca) and the Roman villa at Sa Mesquida (Calvià, Mallorca).
