Cat GayleCatherine Pilcher Gayle lives in Atlanta, Georgia with her husband Woody and their two children. She's had a passion for creative writing since her childhood growing up in Dalton, Georgia. Catherine went on to attend the University of Georgia where se received a Business Degree in Risk Management Insurance. After college, Catherine spent a summer in London, England followed by working in New York City. Her love of these two cities gave her inspiration to write her upcoming chapter book series for early independent readers. Catherine's first published work When a Monster Dreams was written to help alleviate her young son's fear of monsters at bedtime. Her idea quickly expanded into a "monster series" touching on topics such as mindfulness and manners.Catherine has a deep appreciation for the arts and in her free time you will find her attending concerts, theater productions and films.
