Carrie L OkizakiCarrie Okizaki is the cofounder and president of Modus Strategic Solutions, Inc., a consulting firm that helps organizations manage and successfully deliver large capital projects through thorough and objective project oversight, assessment, and manaement services. She began her career as a construction lawyer and litigator, serving clients in all areas of the construction industry. As a consultant, Ms. Okizaki has broad experience in providing advice to project owners, contractors, and other stakeholders related to planning and managing all stages of the construction project lifecycle, including supporting the development of contracting strategies, contract negotiation, and project risk management and advising on day-to-day commercial and claims issues. She has led contract negotiations on billion-dollar construction contracts and provided project management oversight and consulting and legal services for projects worth in excess of $75 billion. Ms. Okizaki is a longtime member of the American Bar Association's Forum on the Construction Industry and participated in several Forum publications as both an editor and an author.
