Carrie Jim SchusterBorn in 1947, Carrie Jim Schuster grew up living by the seasons on Northwest reservations, but principally at her family's tiny lodge on the Snake River. Through songs, stories, and rituals, Carrie absorbed Native languages, traditions, lessons, and ays. Today, she is a scholar, educator, and ceremonial leader, as well as a master artist and seamstress.
