Carolyn J WoodCarolyn enjoys research, writing, and helping others to see and understand their life experiences in different ways. Her efforts have been recognized through teaching, research, and human service awards. Throughout her career as professor of Educatioal Leadership and Organizational Learning she taught graduate seminars with a human behavior focus. The skills she honed over the years help her to better observe, understand, appreciate, and connect with people of different cultures. As a result, she is better able to assist travelers to expand their worldly viewpoints. Carolyn has published numerous articles and book chapters and has given presentations throughout the U.S. on a variety of topics. She received a B.A from Drake University, an M.A. from the University of Denver, and a Ph.D. from Washington University (St. Louis). She retired as Professor Emerita from the University of New Mexico. She hasn't traveled as much as Mary Jane; but she is making up for that in retirement, and at this point has visited 53 countries, most while cruising. Read More Read Less
