Carol SzamatowiczBorn among ten siblings on Chicago's Southside to a Montanan nurse and a corn factory foreman. Arrived alone in NYC in 1972, still in her teens, settled in East Village. Traveled and wrote in Culebra, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Portuga, and Mexico. Taught children in NYC for thirty years. Currently teaching yoga.
