Carol Rose HimelhochDr. Carol R. Himelhoch received her PhD from the University of Michigan. She is a Professor of Management and Organizational Behavior at Siena Heights University in Adrian, Michigan. Her management experience spans Tier 1 automotive manufacturing opeations, marketing, advertising, and retail management. Carol contributes to the field of management by publishing in peer-reviewed journals and speaking at management and leadership conferences. Carol has been active in consulting since the mid-1980s. She has been an avid HIIT athlete since 2005. Dr. Carol's first book Transformational Leadership and High-intensity Interval training was an exploratory study of how leaders who participate in high-intensity interval training perceive the influence of HIIT on their leadership styles. She is back at it again, this time in a quantitative follow-up study of 189 leaders at all managerial levels, and at all levels of exercise from none at all to very high intensity. Her follow-up study also includes subordinate perceptions of their leaders to minimize leader self-report biases.
