Carmen Acevedo ButcherCarmen Acevedo Butcher is an author, poet, and teacher. A translator of Early Modern French, German, Latin, Middle English, and Old English, she has made accessible works by writers including Ælfric, The Cloud's Anonymous, Hildegard of ingen, Julian of Norwich, and Mechthild of Magdeburg.
