Carlton L BurfordCarlton L. Burford was born in Memphis, Tennessee to the parents of Alfred Burford, Sr. and Clara Johnson in November 1955 and is currently married to his loving wife, Bernetta L. Burford. He also has 3 lovely daughters (Tiffany, Tonya and Toya) and grandchildren (Shayne, Alijah and Kaleb). He attended college at General Motors Institute of Technology and graduated in July 1978 with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering. In November 1978, Pastor Burford was called by God into the gospel ministry and attended Midwestern Baptist College in Pontiac, Michigan and in 1999 received an honorary doctorate of divinity degree from the Great Commission Bible College and Theological University located in Bowling Green, Kentucky. He is currently the founder and pastor of the Inner Peace Baptist Church in Nashville, Tennessee. Pastor Burford believes that the Bible is the Word of God and is fully inspired and without error in the original manuscripts.
