In addition to er professional work as a clinician, supervisor, and educator, she has spent many years facilitating Mommy and Me art groups for toddlers. She is dedicated to ensuring that children have an opportunity to explore their creativity and develop strong communication skills--always with consideration of their developmental age and abilities.This book grew out of her interest in sharing with others the joys and significance of art-making in a child's emotional, cognitive, and social development.
