Caren A PanizzoCaren Panizzo has been an educator for over thirty-five years, earning both a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in education and teaching at grade levels kindergarten through high school. She knew from a very young age the enjoyment that reading can brig and carried this love of reading to her students, children, and now her grandchildren. She has always aspired to write books for children, and now in retirement she is pursuing that dream with her premier children's book, "Gerald the Short-Necked Giraffe". She resides in Plymouth, Michigan with her husband, Mike, that she credits with inspiring her with the idea of a short-necked giraffe.
