Cara HochhalterCara B. Hochhalter grew up in Michigan and graduated from the University of Michigan. Her careers have involved education, art, theology, and ministry. As an artist, she exhibited watercolors of endangered wildflowers in northern Michigan and Washingon state.After eight years as a United Church of Christ Christian Educator in Charlevoix, Michigan, she attended United Theological Seminary of the Twin Cities, New Brighton, Minnesota, to study art and theology. She received a master of divinity degree in 2008. While studying, she created block prints and watercolors interpreting scripture as well as issues of social justice.In 2008, she became pastor for the Charlemont Federated Church in Massachusetts.
