Candis KirkpatrickCandis Kirkpatrick-Miller is a Saskatchewan playwright and novelist; born and raised in Mossbank, raised her children in Moose Jaw, and now lives outside of North Battleford. Her play, Predeceased By, won Best New Play at Theatre Fest in Oxbow. She i a passionate advocate for the dignity of older adults, and her debut novel, Crows and Cheesecake (2023), explores society's stereotyping of its elders. In her spare time, Candis enjoys working in her English garden-her happy place-and dabbles in wood carving and painting.
