C N NaylorCarol-Anne was born in Fife, Scotland, before moving to the Midlands when she was seven years old and to Cheshire when she was 15. The inspiration for her second book comes from family holidays and adventures with her siblings growing up. She met herhusband in Cheshire in 2012; they married in 2013 and three years later, Carol-Anne graduated from Staffordshire University with a PGCE in Primary Education.
