Buzz McIntyreBuzz McIntyre is a guitarist, composer and arranger who has had a lifelong love affair with drawing and painting. Born in 1960 the tiny hamlet of Selmer, Tennessee and raised in Memphis, Buzz grew up obsessed with comic strips, comic books, Star Trekand animated film. This, along with his, admittedly, anemic athletic ability and coke bottle eyeglasses, ranks him as among the very first of an army of comic fan nerds whose numbers have multiplied geometrically in subsequent years.As a musician, Buzz has performed with Gregg Allman, Willie Mitchell, Phineas Newborn Jr, Hootie and the Blowfish, Rufus Thomas, actress/singer Bernadette Peters, drummer, Carl Cubby O'Brien (original member of the Mickey Mouse Club) and the Memphis Symphony Orchestra, as well as many local Memphis musicians. He also composed and performed original music for the 1993 Paramount Motion Pictures The Firm starring Tom Cruise and Gene Hackman, which was filmed in Memphis.
