Burkart DahneBurkart Dahne (1981) earned his PhD in Prehistoric Archaeology at Leipzig University, Germany, with a thesis on the excavations of the Uigur capital Karabalgasun in 2009-2011, following a M.A. in archaeology of the Middle Ages, Building Archaeology ad Prehistoric Archaeology at Bamberg University, Germany. He was leading field archaeologist of the Mongolian-German-Orkhon-Expedition in 2009-2011 and became a scholarship holder of the Gerda-Henkel-Stiftung 2011-2013.
