Bruce GoodpasterBruce grew up in a Christian home in the Midwest and accepted Jesus as his personal savior as a child. While in the Navy, he met the Navigators who greatly influenced his spiritual growth by emphasizing Bible study and Scripture memory. During his emloyment years, he managed retirement communities and nursing homes for 35 years in Indiana, Ohio, and Maryland. After retiring in Littlestown, PA, he began writing more poetry, most of them centered on spiritual themes. Because of his interest in prophecy and the end times, many of his poems relate to the certainty of Christ's imminent return to earth and the importance of being ready to meet the Lord in the air. Goodpaster frequently takes copies of his poems to share with people he meets at restaurants, airports, and dialysis.
