Bruce Francis SchaafsmaFather of two boys, and the second of six children of Dutch and Irish ancestry, Bruce Francis Schaafsma grew up on the North Shore of Sydney, Australia. He had a Christian upbringing which was heavily influenced by his parents and, in particular, hisfather, who worked tirelessly for the Saint Vincent de Paul whilst providing for his wider family and helping all those he could along the way. Bruce has a commerce degree and is a Certified Practicing Accountant who has worked in various commercial environments and in hospitality for his whole working life.
