Brooks C WilsonBrooks was educated at Knox Grammar, Sydney University and Harvard Business School. He met his future wife, Ann, in New York City in 1958. During a marriage of 61 years, they raised a family of three sons and one daughter and now have nine grandchilden. At 37, Brooks was chief executive of a company with global operations in Australia, USA, China, and elsewhere. In 1999, he received an award from the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade for establishing the first Australian venture in China, shortly after China opened to the outside world.
