She teaches creative writing for ages ten to ninety-nine, inspiring students to find their own voices. She's theproud mom of two children, a nonbinary artist teenager and a budding middle-grade writer. When she's not dreaming, drafting, or discovering new characters and stories, Britta enjoys spending time with her family, horseback riding, and reading everything from picture books to romantic comedies.
