She is a member of the National League of American Pen Women, where she has won awards for her children's books and er adult mysteries. Her other organizations include The Florida Authors Connection, Gulf Coast Sisters in Crime and the Florida Writers Association and is a founding member of ABC Books 4 Children & Adults, Inc.
