A relatively-short marriage preceded a lifetime of work as an architect, primarily in design and detailing aspects of th profession (over three years of which were spent in London, involved with the architectural team for the Barbican Arts Centre); occasion forays into theatre both in Australia and London and with training there as a fine printmaker at Sir John Cass in Whitechapel; now retired, lives on Queensland's Sunshine Coast Hinterland, singing as a chorister in local community choirs, drawing, painting, playing piano when time and inclination permit; intermittently for some past fifty years, composing poems of varying formats, length and subjects, finally as a founding member of the Pente Poets, a small collective of local poets.
