Bonnie received her master's degree in nursing, as a pediatric nurse practitioner, followed by her post-masters/clinical nurse specialist degree in child and adolescent psychotherapy from the University of Maryland, School of Nursing. She lives in Charleston, South Carolina, with her husband.
