Bob ZumwaltBob Zumwalt was born in Hallettsville, Texas and grew up in that small South Central Texas town. He earned degrees in chemical engineering from Texas A&M (B.S.) and the University of Delaware (Ph.D.). Bob worked two years as a process design engineerfor a large chemical company, served two years as a lieutenant in the US Army, and spent the remainder of his professional career as a specialist and consultant in mathematical modeling and process control for a large international oil company. His career - rich with interesting experiences, travel, and people - inspired many of his stories. In his spare time Bob enjoys listening to music, reading, writing, tennis, running and walking, and caring for rescued kitty cats.
