Bob C GreenBob Chapman Green was born in Fort Pierce, Florida on September 23, 1943, to Bob Clarence and Edris Marie Green. He accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his Savior as a 12 year old boy attending Fairlawn Baptist Church. He surrendered to the Gospel Minitry when he was 16 years of age. He graduated from Dan McCarty High School in 1961 and ultimately earned a B.A. degree with a major in Bible from Tennessee Temple College in Chattanooga, TN. He and Patsy Deitz were married in July of 1965. In 1967 they were approved as missionaries to serve with Baptist International Missions, Inc (BIMI) in Central America. They served as church-planting missionaries in Central America from August, 1968 until November, 1979. It was during those years that they gained much personal experience as church planters. They returned to the USA in 1979 because of the war in El Salvador. During the past 40 plus years they have continued to serve with BIMI in various capacities. Though Brother Green has been a Director with BIMI, their main concern and passion has been for the ministry among Hispanics in the USA and some in Latin America. Church Planting has been a priority. Presently Dr. Green is Hispanic Ministries Representative and Aviation Ministries Director for the Mission. Brother Green has also written several additional books, including translations from English into Spanish. The Greens have two children Susan Michelle Culler and Timothy Wayne Green. They also have six grandchildren (Danielle, Hunter, Logan, Natalie, Hannah (and Mitch) and Joshua (and Gabby), and two great grandchildren (Trevor and Brooklyn of Hannah and Mitch Feliciano).
