Bill McCloudIn 1967, Bill McCloud dropped out of his freshman year of college to join the army. He served in Vietnam as fight operations coordinator for the 147^th Assault Support Helicopter Company from March, 1968, through March, 196. When he returned home to Oklahoma, he earned a degree in social studies education and a master's degree in education.
